  1. 2000–2004

    Student

    Chiang Mai University

    B.Eng. Communication Engineering

Communication engineering from the ground up: circuits, signals and radio, in my home town.

1st Class Honours, Gold Medal 2004 · Annual Best Student Award 2001–2003

  2. 2005–2014

    Student, then Ph.D.

    Ulm University, Germany

M.Sc. Communication Technology, then Dr.-Ing. (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering

A master’s, then a Ph.D. on impulse-radio ultra-wideband: very short pulses spread over a very wide band. As a student assistant I wrote demos for the MATLAB DemoPlayer, the seed of today’s DemoPlayer, and later advised student theses, among them Sara Al-Sayed’s UWB demos.

    LEG Award (3rd Prize) 2006

  3. 2008–2017

    Researcher

    German Aerospace Center (DLR)

    Research Scientist

Navigation for aviation. I worked on LDACS1, a candidate data link for future air traffic that can also measure distance, a backup when GNSS fails. We took it into the air: flight tests showed how DME pulses disturb it, and how pulse blanking and particle filtering clean them out.

Best Presentation Award, ION GNSS+ 2015

  4. 2017–2019

    Engineer

    Nokia, Germany

    5G System Architect

5G system architecture. I wrote specifications for base-station features: beams, energy-saving functions and the L1 physical layer. Requests came to our team from across the product, and we worked out how to solve them.

  5. 2019–2022

    Lecturer

    Chiang Mai University

    Lecturer

Back home to teach: communication engineering, signal processing, electronics and measurement equipment, with research on LoRa. I taught circuits with the picture I had as a student: voltage as height.

    Business

    BOTNOI Group

CMO · CEO of Botnoi Voice · Managing Director

A Thai voice-AI company. As CEO of Botnoi Voice I led it to become the first Thai-developed app on Canva, AWS Marketplace and n8n. At Botnoi Academy, a project-based AI internship, I help shape the structure and oversee operations: 1,364 interns so far.

And on the side, with an AI assistant: the Learning Center, with DemoPlayer and CircuitPlayer.

Research

Selected publications

20+ peer-reviewed papers and 1 patent in communications, navigation and signal processing. Along the way: particle filtering, Kalman filters, trilateration for GPS, compressed sensing, carrier smoothing, radar. I’m still fascinated by radar systems like DME and TACAN, and by doppler radar for speeding.

Signals in flight

At DLR I worked on LDACS1, a candidate data link for future air traffic that can also measure distance: a backup when GNSS fails. In flight tests we saw how pulses from DME, the distance radio aircraft already use, disturb it, and how pulse blanking and particle filtering clean them out.

At BOTNOI

My day job: a Thai voice-AI company. Two things I built with the team.

Botnoi Voice

Thai text-to-speech

As CEO of Botnoi Voice, I led it to become the first Thai-developed app on Canva, AWS Marketplace and n8n.

Text

สวัสดี ครับ ยินดี ที่ ได้ รู้จัก

“Hello, nice to meet you.”

Botnoi Academy

Project-based AI internship

I help shape its structure and oversee its operations. Students learn AI by building real projects. 2023 to mid-2026:

Where I visualise and try things

My recent side work, built with an AI assistant. Signals and control are hard because you can’t see them, so here you turn the knob and watch. Free, no sign-up.

I’m a big fan of 3Blue1Brown, StatQuest and Numberphile; this is my try at that. Today it is mostly engineering. It may grow to other things I want to understand, like photography, pricing or video editing.

LiveB.Sc. – M.Sc.

DemoPlayer

Communication engineering on live oscilloscope screens, from the sine wave to 6G: hands-on, full instrument or guided lesson. It started as a MATLAB demo at Ulm in 2006.

CircuitPlayer: a circuit drawn as a landscape, voltage as height and current as amber balls

Betahigh school to first year

CircuitPlayer

Basic circuits and electronics with the elevator and the water, from Ohm’s law and Kirchhoff to transistor amplifiers, op-amps and CMOS logic. Still in progress.

Talks and teaching

Things I like to talk about

Now and then I speak and teach, mostly at universities, schools and companies, in Thai or English. These are the topics I keep coming back to.

  1. 01

    Turning AI ideas into products

What I learned taking a Thai voice-AI product to Canva, AWS Marketplace and n8n.

  2. 02

    How wireless really works

5G, 6G and the invisible network around us, shown live.

  3. 03

    Making engineering visible

Teaching signals and systems with live pictures: the idea behind DemoPlayer.

  4. 04

Everyday AI for schools and teams

Simple AI and voice tools that teachers and staff can use right away.
